Loving fun? Deadly statistics of HIV/AIDS prevalence in Nigeria

Nigeria has the second-largest number of people living with HIV. In some states, the epidemic is more concentrated and driven by high-risk behaviors, while other states have more generalized epidemics that are sustained primarily by multiple sexual partnerships in the general population.Young women are generally at higher risk than young men. Benue State has for many years topped the chart of the prevalence of HIV/AIDS with over 600,000 persons living with the virus in the state.

Also with over 60,000 Nigerian children infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) last year, Nigeria has the highest number of children with the virus in the world, according to the latest report by the United Nations.
The number of children infected with the virus is higher than that of any other country in the world, and is a source of worry for experts.

What do you think about the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria especially with almost half of benue state having the virus?
